Privacy Policy
This document explains how Lumivane collects, uses, and stores personal data submitted through lumivane.world. The site operator is Lumivane, 12, Saeun-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, 03157, Republic of Korea, reachable at +82-2-2268-1234.
It covers the contact form on this site, the server logs written as you browse, how cookies and similar technologies are handled, how long we keep what you send, and how to reach us with a request about your own data.
The short version
- What we collect Form + logs
- Why we hold it Replies + uptime
- Advertising profiles Not built
- Your requests Phone or post
The sections below expand each line of this summary. Where a detail differs from the summary, the section text is the binding version.
How to read this
If you are checking one thing, read the section that matches it: what we collect, why, how long we keep it, or how to ask us to correct or delete it. Cabinet-level technical detail about the shop itself — card specifications, prices, availability — lives on the GPU catalog and buying guide pages rather than here.
This policy does not set out our trading terms for orders, shipping, or returns; those sit in the Terms of Service. It also does not describe the cookie categories in the same detail as the Cookie Policy, which is the controlling document for cookie choices.
Data we collect
Two streams of data arrive when you use this site. The first is what you hand us deliberately — the fields in the contact form. The second is what the server records while it answers you, which is ordinary operational data rather than anything you typed.
We do not ask for payment details through the contact form, and you should not send them there. Orders and their payment handling happen elsewhere in the site, where the fields are built for that purpose.
What each stream holds
- From the form Name, email, message
- You may include Build details
- From the server IP, browser, pages
- Not collected here Card details
Why we collect it
Contact form data is used only to answer your inquiry — the build list you send, the card you are weighing up, or the question about availability. Once that exchange is finished, the message has no second life.
Server logs are used to keep the site running, detect abuse, and understand which pages visitors find useful. That is operational housekeeping, not audience profiling: we look at which pages help people compare cards, not at who you are.
Purpose by data type
- Answering your inquiry
- Your name, email address, and message content are read by the person who replies, and used to write that reply.
- Keeping the site available
- Log entries such as IP address, browser type, and the pages you visited support uptime checks, error tracing, and blocking automated abuse.
- Understanding useful pages
- Aggregate page-view patterns tell us whether the catalog, comparison, and guide pages answer what buyers arrive asking.
- What we do not do
- We do not use your data for advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses cookies as described in the Cookie Policy. Those files let the site remember a preference or recognise a returning visit so a page does not start from zero each time. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, and that choice is yours to make without asking us first.
Some site functions may not work as intended if you do. A cookie turned off rarely breaks reading a page, but it can interrupt anything that depends on remembering state between one request and the next. If something behaves oddly after you change browser settings, switch the cookie back on and reload before assuming the site is broken.
Where to read the detail
The Cookie Policy is the controlling document for cookie categories, their purposes, and how long each one lives. This section only records that the site sets them and that your browser settings can refuse them.
Retention
Two different clocks run here. Messages you send us live as long as the conversation and any follow-up it needs. Server logs live on a shorter cycle, because their job is operational rather than conversational.
- Contact form messages Kept while the inquiry is open, then removed on a routine schedule
- Follow-up after a reply Included in the same window, then dropped
- Server logs Held for a limited period for security and operations
When a message is removed from the active mailbox it is not kept as a separate archive for later use. If you want a copy of your own correspondence, keep one on your side before we clear it.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing. If you write to us about a card, that message does not end up on a partner list.
Data may be disclosed where required by Korean law or to service providers who host and maintain the site, and only to the extent necessary for that purpose. Hosting and maintenance access stays within what is needed to keep the pages loading and the mailbox working.
If a legal request arrives, we provide what the request actually covers and nothing beyond it. Where the law allows us to tell you that a request concerned your data, we will.
How a disclosure happens
-
Marketing partners
None. No data leaves us for advertising or list-building.
-
Hosting and maintenance
Access limited to what serving the site and running its mailbox requires.
-
Legal requirement
Disclosure only where Korean law compels it, scoped to the request.
Your rights
Access · correction · deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. Send requests to the contact details above. We will respond within a reasonable period and may ask you to verify your identity before acting.
Verification exists so that a request to delete your record cannot be made by someone else using your name. A short confirmation of who you are is usually all that is needed. If a request is unclear, we will tell you what would make it actionable rather than refuse it outright.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices change. The current version is always available on this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
An update is not always dramatic. Adding a new server provider, changing the retention wording, or clarifying how a privacy request is verified can each trigger a revision. When the change affects how your data is handled rather than only how it is described, we will say so at the top of the page instead of leaving you to diff two versions.
Can I buy or reserve a card through the contact form?
No. The form is for questions and build lists, not for orders. Pricing, availability, and ordering are handled through the pages built for that, and the form fields do not collect payment information.
Do build details I send affect what you do with my data?
No. A build list — case, power supply, the resolution or games you care about — is read as part of your message and used to write the reply. It is not passed on for advertising or added to a marketing list.
What should I do if I want my message deleted?
Ask, and we will remove it. Send the request from the same email address you wrote from so we can find the message, and say whether you want it corrected or deleted outright. If we no longer hold it because the retention window has closed, we will tell you that as well.
Does buying from the site change this policy?
This page is about the site's own data handling. The terms that govern an actual order — delivery, returns, warranty handling — are set out in the Terms of Service, which sits alongside this policy rather than inside it.
